In late spring/early summer course shells in Canvas get created by IT Services for the next academic year - there are exceptions such as if your course is non-modular or uses another approach, but basically any courses creates in Curriculum Manager instruct which courses are created in Canvas. If you are due to teach but can't see the the new course spaces in your 'All Courses' list then have a chat with your school team about if you are enrolled on them in curriculum manager.

We put various instructions together throughout the academic year advising staff on how to do things, and there may also be localised instructions from your school you need to follow, but Dr Jessica Banks from Maths has done a fantastic job of demonstrating the basic process in this short video:
