Canvas is designed so that it works equally as well on phones and tablets as on PCs. You can download the free ‘Canvas Student’ Apps from the Android Play Store, or the Apple App tore. Simply search for ‘Canvas’ and look for the Canvas icon.

Once installed you will be able to see your course materials, submit assignments, produce video and photo content in Canvas Studio, completes quizzes, join in with discussions, view grades and feedback and much more. The app also provides access to course calendars, ‘To Do’ items, notifications, conversations and messages.

Step-by-step guide to downloading your Canvas student app

Go to your App Store and search for Canvas Student.
Download and open the App.
Use the Find my school button to search for The University of Liverpool.
You will be taken to the following screen.
Click on Liverpool Users and use your University MWS username and password to log in and start using Canvas.
